I have to chalk up to both poor direction and/or complete incompetence. His "basement" set was rather elaborate and in many ways excessive considering the set ups that many of the top pod/vid casts that are currently out there.

I'm not necessarily trying to say Harry abused the funds, and I appreciate you not going down that road in an effort to sensationalize a story that really doesn't need it.

I guess my amazement at the apparent cost of the show is less of an accusation of wrong-doing, but rather astonishment at how inefficiently they must have been made under what I can only assume is poor direction, or complete incompetence.

I'm not going to make claims that he outright abused the Kickstarter funds as other outlets have, but given his bombastic online persona ... the fact that he doesn't even acknowledge this controversy is amazing to me.

Wait, 3 episodes complete 3 in post? You're telling me that $100,000+ only paid for 6 episodes? Aren't these things only about 10 minutes each?
I would love to see the breakdown of the production costs, I'm guessing every day they were on set there must have been $10,000 worth of Jimmy Johns sandwiches delivered for the crew.

"As with Season 1, Season 2 episodes will be available for viewing as soon as they are completed, delivered to you via the Ain't It Cool News website for your immediate enjoyment, dissection, refutation, discussion, etc. "

His tweets contradict that message.

I am not sad to see this one go. I think it ended up giving general folks an inflated sense of worth for their stuff in the attic. Not to say the show itself was bad but the whole reality TV editing of it really wore thin on me early on which made me stop watching.

Out of curiosity, I checked Rotten Tomatoes to see where the last film landed with critics (the CGI one). 34%! Sure, it wasn't a cinematic gem, but it was still a fun flick. Maybe the new movie will fall in line with that?

Well said. I finally spotted the figures in stores and was also underwhelmed. The small, medium, and large variety is weird too - they're toys, not popcorn sizes. Like you, I usually try to grab a Raphael, but eh, it's not as enjoyable this time around.
